I feel more calm on this leg because I took the time to make reservations before arriving and I reviewed the route I will take from Firenze to Vernazza. I take a train from Firenze to Pisa Centrale and from there transfer to the train headed to La Spezia Centrale. I was even on top of the change of time. And because I did all that, I felt comfortable spending a few more hours around the city. I headed back to Ponte Sta. Rita and I have caffe con latte and a roll for breakfast.
Cinqua Terre is beautiful. Wait for pictures which is soon to come. My room has a balcony with an astonishing view. I take it easy tonight to rest for lots of hiking tomorrow. Cinqua Terre is a series of five hillside and seaside towns that are linked by hiking trails. Tomorrow I head to Cornilia in the morning and Montessoro in the afternoon. Wish me luck.
