Rome is a very romantic city so in some ways it sucks to travel here alone. Everyday I see at least one major makeout session being done in public. So it is quite appropriate that today, my family friend, Ate Reggie, has made it her mission to take me to Divino Amore, a small church that she used to visit here with her then-boyfriend-now-husband Kuya Noli. I thought sure, I'm up for some Divine Love. Divino Amore is some 12 km away from Central Rome via Rome's oldest highway, Appia Antica. On the way, I get a preview of a more rustic Rome (see picture at left).
It's the smallest church I've seen since I got here which was a relief after one huge basilica after another. The walls of this tiny church is filled with thank you notes and testaments to the wishes and prayers granted them after their devotion to the Virgin Mary for whom this church is dedicated.St. Renegade, I took picture of the scissors for you. Sadly I can't tell you much about what the scissors are for.

hi! such a nice place. hope you prayed for our wishes to come true, then we'll have to go there and put up our thank you notes or testaments. :)
The scissors are much appreciated, as are your posts in general. And for future reference, our darling world traveller, scissors are for cutting things.
