Yes. Me.
I'm back at work. Here at my desk preparing to write my blog entry made me think of Marco of Dr. Zeuss tale who thinks that a broken down wagon that is drawn by a horse much too meek a story and gets giddy in the head embelishing and just when he thought he had the story down pat, when asked what he saw on Mulberry Street, despite his grandiose ideas of a marvelous parade with horses that turn into zebras then onto an elephant carrying a rajah, he ultimately and disappointedly states the simple fact that he saw a horse and a wagon on Mulberry Street. But unlike Marco, I am only unable to describe the event but I really did see more than a horse and a wagon. I saw palaces and mountains and olive trees and lemon orchards. I saw paintings by Da Vinci, Michelangelo. Buildings by Brunelesci. I saw a humongous ad picture at North Edsa of John Lloyd telling me to take care of myself. I saw the flowering bloom of an okra plant and the okra that followed which made for some yummy lunch. I went to my favorite Church, St. Therese, and saw my old friends. I found my old college professor at the hallway of the Humanities Building of the Arts and Sciences in UPLB. I found Das Mobel in Vienna. I found my way through Trestevere. I found Hotel Enza in Florence. I found a beautiful picture of my Mom when she was single. I found my lost Gehry rings. I found me. So Yes. Me.
