I'm excited to show you my new work. This all came together in the last couple of days. I've been floundering for weeks not really coming up with anything I was happy with. The cat is Sisal, the yard cat that likes to stay with me during the day. You could say he's my officemate. He stays and chats with me while I have a cup of coffee by the watercooler that is my kitchen.
My doming tools came a week ago which is how I'm able to make these bulbous shapes. The twigs were an experiment at fusing, a process of attaching metal pieces without using solder. Could not find my solder mojo for the past few days, kept melting stuff, so I tried fusing. A happy accident. Love that.
