This was my banner year. I took a chance and chance took me by surprise. What is most amazing to me is that I am exactly where I was when I left---the same house, the same job, the same friends, always the same family though happily now more extended (hi amy!)---but everything is different because I see it with new eyes and isn't that all there is sometimes.
